Mason...

Came through the surgery pretty well. The neurosurgeon was able to drain alot of what ever was causing the swelling. Now they have to culture it and find out exactly what "it" is. Then they will know exactly what to treat him with. After a quick phone call this morning Cristine says he ate a good dinner and is ready for breakfast! Food for a little boy is a good thing. They have left a tube in his head to continue draining "it". Maybe we should give "it" a name. Help me come up with something good! "It" is going to take at least 8 weeks to heal. I think 2 months qualifies for a name. You know what they say...when life gives you lemons! Thank you all so much for you kind thoughts and words. They mean so much!

Good news about his appetite returning. It is wonderful that kids are so resilient. A name for the drain? LOL you are too funny.

"CORPULOUS PUFF POTT, The Stupid Tumor." That should cover it! LOL!!

Don't think corpulous is a word, but corpus means "the main part or body". The CPP has been met, drained, and hopefully fully defeated!! My prayers continue!!

Corpulous Puff Pott, that's got a nice ring to it. Now we need to teach Mason to say it so he can tell his Neurosurgeon. According to the internet this guy is quite famous for his knowledge and is head of Neurology over 4 hospitals. One of the nurses called him "famous". Corpulous Puff Pott should get a laugh out of him!
