Did I Mention...

We went to the yard sale capital of California? Twice a year a little town about an hour from where we are at the moment turns into the yard sale capital of California. Hundreds and hundreds of sales all going on at once. Can you say heaven?

And I know I've mentioned more than once that my husband AKA The Peddler is the finder of all things unusual. Well, this was the hit of the day! This surfboard caused more commotion by middle aged men that I have ever seen. Must have brought back memories of Gidget and Moon Doggie. And if you don't know who they are...you are too young! Kind of an oxy-moron, a surfboard in the desert.

This is a really old horseshoe and it is going right next to the boot hanging on the side of my future chicken coop!

We found lots and lots of these...

This picture is a little bit of a give away as to where we are. Have you figured it out yet?
This find has been put to alot of good use this week...and it was free! We love free sales!

I couldn't resist these, especially since they came with their original box!

And when this guy is de-rusted it will replace...

This monster U.S. Army wood stove. It's just a little too big for our taste!

Lots of bottles and I especially love the little brown one. It must have been in a fire because it is melted and misshapen.

and these two pretty ladies were a steal!

The Peddler has been very busy doing this...

so he can dig this....

So I can have one of these...

So I don't have to do this! That about sums up our week.
