Buck found something fun to play with yesterday
He kept busy for at least an hour doing this. It took the biggest beach towel we had to dry him off.
This is currently nesting in our pecan tree. I was hoping it was our eagle visitor but upon further inspection we found a Turkey Vulture. Pretty ugly huh!
And this morning his mate showed up. Nice!

Yeah - those vultures are pretty ugly. Why do you suppose they are hanging around??
If I was in the valley I would want to be playing with Buck. Buck needs to run those ugly vultures off the premises!

I don't think I would want vultures in my yard but since they are in your yard, HOW COOL IS THAT!?!
Wow, that is one wild bird! :) I used to dog sit a dog that loved playing in the hose! I'd spray it for her and she'd jump and chase the water forever! It was a great way to wear her out. I loved hearing the sound of her trying to grab the water in her mouth, LOL!
Well, at least those vultures aren't circling over your head!!!!
With looks like those, there's hope for me yet. Oh wait, I'm not looking for a vulture...
