This weeks happenings...
Busy, busy, busy. Lots of classes in the store this week which equals lots of hours in the store for us. Great classes and fun students makes for a great week. I'll have a new next door neighbor this week. Guess who? How fun is this gonna be? We can just yell at each other to get to work!
Today was kind of different. We kept the store open to have a special class with this Artsy Fartsy Fairy. We haven't been open on Sunday's for awhile now so it was kind of nice. Got to catch up and share stories with a couple of really great women. We shared stories about having our older relatives living with us. Cheryl has been doing this for for longer than I did with Myrna and I can so feel her pain. I don't talk about Dear Aunt Myrna much any more, so here's a little update. She is still alive and kicking. The peddler took Abi the Golden Retriever over to visit her today. Pet therapy, it's a wonderful thing! She is still on Hospice and her legs have started swelling so I don't know where this is going. Per Hospice Of The Valley, we are taking it day by day.
My next conversation was a good one. I was picking the brain of one of the most honest, sincere, and trustworthy people I know about what and what not is acceptable when it comes to teaching classes. Can you teach something that you learn from another teacher? Can you change one thing on a project and teach it as your own? Did I learn anything? Yes. It's a very gray area and you should remember "Thou Shall Not Steal". And, as I like to think...treat people the way you would want to be treated.
Am I ranting...yes, a little. Here's to the beginning of a great, new week!

I'm excited about your new neighbors!
Sounds like everyone is busy over there! Thinkin' of you guys;)
Are you gearing up for the move??? Get the wagons rounded up!!
I think it's so cool that you'll both be next door neighbors! The time of year is lousy for a move but once everything is done and in place will be very nice! I changed my font color so my post should be viewable now. I hadn't realized that the gray on black wouldn't show up. Thanks for the heads up! It was pretty funny & he still doesn't know! heeheehee! He'll get me back when he figures it out... that's for sure! I still have ammo though... hey, I could whip out the photo I took of him snoring like a bear & drooling in his sleep in that comfy chair in the front of your store!!! The madness is neverending! LOL!
Here's to good friends, and good neighbors!! Woo-Hoo!! And yes, that's one of the Golden Rules - "Thou Shall Not Steal"!!!
