We have 4 chickens and get 4 eggs a day. Plenty to keep us up to our eyeballs in eggs. And chickens make good pets, too! We love ours.Heart of a Cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18131600639744298923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6710000395217220182.post-59820516267218460062008-10-05T15:20:00.000-07:002008-10-05T15:20:00.000-07:00This brought back memories of growing up on a farm...This brought back memories of growing up on a farm. When I was little, we had a large fenced in area for the chickens out near the barn. My mom would send my sister and I out to gather the eggs. Of course, there had to have a rooster in with the hems! (I think you know the reason!) He was mean and would chase us. I remember thinking my life was in danger every time I went to get the eggs. We lived and I think we eventually had the rooster for Sunday dinner.

Wish you luck with the chickens.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06069292966849653704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6710000395217220182.post-17813286678778886592008-10-05T03:11:00.000-07:002008-10-05T03:11:00.000-07:00Are you sure you aren't from the Midwest?
